It’s Cha-Chi! Join me on Thursday night, Oct 7th at the Regent Theater in Arlington. I am hosting an amazing evening that will start with a screening of the new John Lennon Bio pic, “Nowhere Boy.”
Thursday night, October 7th at 7pm, join me at the Regent Theater in Arlington! We will be celebrating John Lennon’s 70th birthday with a presentation of the new John Lennon bio pic “Nowhere Boy” presented by the New England Folk Music Archives.
I will emcee the film, give away some John Lennon prizes and immediately following the film will be a live performance and Q+A session with the original Quarreymen, the same guys that we were onstage with John Lennon when he met Paul McCartney in July 1957.
Local Beatle collector Jim Cushman will be on-hand displaying personal belongings of John Lennon…his hat from Bermuda….his T shirt from the “Double Fantasy” sessions..a pair of his long john pants that he wore in Denmark in Jan of 1970….autographs…a handwritten “to-do” list…and four strands of his hair from Denver in 1964.
Also speaking will be local Beatles author Tim Riley.
